To determine which size UV Clarifier you are going to need will depend on the following:
- The size (water volume) of your pond.
- How much sunlight your pond gets.
- How many fish and plants are in your pond.
A general rule of thumb is about 5w (per 500 gallons - 2273 litres) for a shaded pond with few fish and plants and 10w for a heavily stocked pond located in full sun.
