The fortnightly checklist

1. Test your water for pH, carbonate hardness, nitrite and nitrate levels.
2. Change 10 to 15% of your aquarium's water.
3. Vacuum the gravel.
4. Remove any algae from the glass.
5. Rinse your filter foams using water extracted from the aquarium tank.
