The benefits of a pond skimmer

Apart from being unsightly, a build-up of organic material such as leaves, dust and decay can quickly cause an abundance of nutrients, which in turn can cause algae to flourish. Pond surface skimmers can stop this process before it gets hold. A surface skimmer will also stop this organic matter from floating to to bottom of your pond which could cause a build-up of sludge.
